Giovanni Pisacane

Giovanni Pisacane is Founder and Managing Partner of GWA ASIA – Greatway Advisory.

He is a business lawyer specialized in international practice. He has been practicing as a business lawyer since 1996 and has extensive experience in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Corporate and Commercial Law, as well as arbitration and mediation.

He is the Founder and Managing Partner of GWA ASIA – Greatway Advisory since 2004, leading a team of over 40 professionals to assist over 200 clients in navigating market entry and intellectual property complexities. Giovanni is also an advisor and contributor to the World Bank for “Doing Business in China” since 2014, and a member of the European China Law Study Association since 2010. Since 2015, he has been included in the list of qualified arbitrators at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) and is also listed as an arbitrator at the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC).

He is the author of numerous publications on Chinese law and regularly publishes on his blog “Le regole del gioco” on AGICHINA24. In 2011, he published the book “Acquisitions and Mergers in China” with MF, and in 2015, also with MF, he published the book “Corporate Governance in China.”
