Register for the 21 March 2026 session to obtain the HSK/HSKK certification!

The HSK/HSKK certification is required in order to apply for the scholarships that cover tuition fees and accommodation for the four-week advanced Chinese language course at the prestigious Shanghai International Studies University (SISU).

The Master in Global Management for China includes a short Business Chinese course, delivered in collaboration with the Confucius Institute of the University of Naples L’Orientale, which will be held online during the months dedicated to classes (approximately from March to July).

Following the Business Chinese course, students will attend a four-week advanced Chinese language program at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), one of China’s leading academic institutions in the fields of languages and international studies.

Scholarships

To take part in the advanced course in Shanghai, students must apply for scholarships funded by the Chinese government and administered by the Confucius Institute, which cover:

  • tuition fees for the course,

  • accommodation in Shanghai.

Language requirements

To apply, candidates must:

  • hold a valid HSK certificate, or

  • take the HSK test in the session scheduled for 21 March 2026, at the Confucius Institute of Naples or other authorized centers in Italy.

Applicants are required to apply for an HSK level consistent with their actual language skills, even below Level 4, provided it reflects realistic chances of success.

If the scholarship is not awarded

Students who, for reasons beyond their control, are not deemed eligible or do not receive the Confucius Institute scholarship may still benefit from an equivalent scholarship funded by the GMC Master, thus ensuring access to the training experience in Shanghai.

Costs borne by students

The following expenses remain the responsibility of the students:

  • travel and living expenses in Shanghai;

  • the HSK exam registration fee.

⚠️ Please note: registration for the HSK session closes in the first weeks of February, depending on the Confucius Institute or testing center chosen. If you do not already hold an HSK certificate valid until May 2026, we strongly recommend registering as early as possible.
